NSK Hospitals Limited (NSKHL) is establishing a cutting edge, state-of-the-art medical center
The entire radiology department equipment will be from GE Healthcare. With its strong base across Africa, GE Healthcare has committed its extensive support to NSKHL’s project. Similar motto’s such as use of technology for better and affordable healthcare makes me a good fit for NSKHL.
The imaging department of the center will offer a wide range of radiology imaging tests. Some of them are listed below:
MRI (1.5T) - GE BRIVO MR355 INSPIRE
CT Scan (128 Slice) - GE OPTIMA CT660 FREEDOM with ASIR
Bone Dexa-GE BMD
Ultrasound - GE LOGIQ P3
X-ray - GE XR 6000
Mammography - GE Alpha RT
The situation in Northern Tanzania is very poor, let alone the small to medium size clinics or hospitals, even the biggest hospitals in the region do not have the complete set of services, which are proposed in this project.
Further to the high-tech equipment, NSKHL intends to take onboard highly qualified radiologists and further tie up with institutes around the world for various uses such as tele-reporting, quality control, best practices and etc.
